Kochi, also referred to as Cochin or Ernakulam, is touted as the financial, commercial and industrial capital of Kerala. It exudes a rather metropolitan appeal, whereas Munnar is anything but metropolitan. The hill station, popularly known as the “Kashmir of South India”, is replete with misty green hills that touches or rises above fluffy white clouds, cavernous valleys and tea plantations.

Day 1 Arrival and all day tour at Kochi

Upon your arrival in the city, our executive will pick you from the airport/railway station. After freshening up, you can venture out to the city that has much to offer. In and around the heart of the city, you have a variety of places to visit, such as the Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary or the Kerala Folklore Museum. The Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica & St Francis Church, located pretty close to each other and famous for their architecture, are also two places tourists throng. To unwind, spend some time at the Marine Drive.

If you travel to the Fort Kochi, Mattancherry side of the city, you sure will be transported to a different world. With palaces turned into museums, churches and other buildings constructed by the Portuguese, Dutch, British or Chinese, this part of the city has eclectic charm. Be sure to watch the fishermen operating the Chinese Fishing Net in the shores of Fort Kochi Beach.

Day 2 Arrival and all day tour at Munnar (132.6 kms – 3 hours 35 minutes)

We start from Kochi early in the morning and with the changing landscape, you’ll know you’re getting closer to the “Kashmir of South India”. Once you reach Munnar, there are plenty of places to visit and marvel at the beauty of nature. While Mattupetty Dam provides a breathtaking view of the hill station, the Mattuppetty Dairy Farm provides sneak-peeks into some of the livelihoods of Munnar. Attukad Waterfalls and Lakkom Waterfalls are mesmerizing experiences to have. To explore more wonders nature has to offer, visit the Eravikulam National Park or Blossom International Park. Dropping by at the tea museum can offer you insights about the plucking, processing and packing of tea leaves. Then head back to the hotel..

Day 3 Departure

Early morning after brteakfast, you’ll be driven back to Kochi, from where you can bid adieu with a bunch of refreshing memories.
