Detailed 5 Days Kerala Tour Itinerary

Places Covered: Munnar, Thekaddy, Alleppey

Day 1 Arrival in Cochin and drive to Munnar (127.7 km in 3 hours and 52 minutes)
  • Our tour manager will pick you from Cochin Intl. Airport or Ernakulam train station and drive you to Munnar. 
  • Post hotel check-in, get some relaxation and then head out to experience the sounds and sights of Munnar. 
  • Explore top tourist attractions of Munnar like Meesapulimala, Echo Point or Top Station. These places will give our excellent views of the Western Ghats and surrounding areas. 
  • Click photos at Attukad Waterfalls and Lakkom Waterfalls. After this eventful day, enjoy a tranquil time sitting near Kunadala Lake.
  • Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 All Day Munnar Excursion (The mist-clad hill-station of Kerala)
  • Day 2 of Munnar is full of pleasant and fulfilling experiences. Your first stop is Tata Tea Plantation. Here you can see the cultivation and processing of tea leaves and also visit the museum. 
  • Next, visit the Eravikulam National Park for a stroll and admire the thriving flora and fauna of the park. 
  • The last stop for today is Mattuppetty Dam from where you get beautiful views of Munnar. There is also a dairy farm nearby that you can visit.

Day 3 Arrival in Thekkady and Full Day Tour (96.8 km in 2 hours 44 minutes)
  • Enjoy a scenic drive from Munnar to Thekkady, another beautiful hill-station in Kerala. 
  • Thekkady is famous for Periyar National Park. You can visit the Periyar Lake and enjoy a boat ride.
  • It is the largest artificial lake in Kerala and if you’re lucky, you may spot animals like elephants or sambar who come to the nearby lake to drink water.
  • You should also enjoy bamboo rafting while in Thekkady.

1. All correspondence(s) in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to M/s. eKeralaTourism.net

2. Payments: To confirm booked services, an advance payment is required. The balance payment can be paid at the time of departure or upon arrival. The payment, however, must be paid before the beginning of tour services. The management of eKerala Tourism reserves the right to determine how much advance payment should be made.

In special circumstances, like Christmas or New Year's, full advanced payment is required for hotels or resorts bookings.

3. Mode of Payment:

  • Overseas advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank.
  • Indian Nationals can make payment through Net Banking, UPI, etc.

4. Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive cancellation request in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 45 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost
  • 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost
  • 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
  • 48 hours prior to arrival OR No Show: No Refund

Note: Written cancellation is accepted on all working days, except Sunday. The written cancellation request received on Sundays will be considered on the next working day.

Wildlife Safaris Cancellation: All the wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change requests will be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded/ adjusted against it.
