TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1Arrival in Munnar from Kochi

You will be greeted and escorted from the Cochin International Airport by our representatives. Upon your arrival in the luscious green Munnar, you can check in at the hotel, sit back and take in the place that is fondly referred to as ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’. Enjoy a delicious supper and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2Munnar Excursion

Start your day early with a hearty breakfast and get set to explore the beautiful hill station, Munnar. Breathe in the freshness and exotic fragrance of green tea plantations at Mattupetty and enjoy the breathtaking view around Kundala Lake. The panoramic view that awaits you at Echo point is a clear example of the splendid beauty of Munnar that wins over the senses. You can enjoy more of flora and fauna and even spot the rare Nilgiri Tahr at Eravikulam National Park. Other remarkable places on the list are Photo Point, Elephant Arrival Spot, Anaimudi Peak, Tata Tea Museum, and more.

Return back to the hotel for a filling dinner and night stay.

Day 3Munnar to Alleppey (171 km / 4 Hours 53 Mins)

After a warm breakfast, check out of the hotel and bid adieu to Munnar. What awaits next on your journey is a place famous for its backwaters, houseboats, lush coconut lagoons and paddy fields. Soak in the beauty of Alappuzha Beach which is packed with fun activities. You can enjoy a ride in the houseboat that will not just be a unique experience but will also give you a glimpse of coir villages and everyday life in Alleppey. Pay a holy visit to one of the oldest temples in Kerala, the Sree Subrahmanya Swamy temple and also checkout oldest lighthouse in Kerala which is Alleppey Lighthouse.

Later check in at the hotel/boathouse for a tasty supper and refreshing sleep.

Day 4 Alleppey to Varkala (106.9 km / 3 Hours 12 Mins)

Post a scrumptious breakfast and check out, head towards Varkala. The first place on the list here is Varkala Beach. This stretch of glistering sand with endless waves rising and falling also has a mystical importance. Not only can you stretch back and enjoy a good view here but a dip in the water can wash away all your sins. Next is a colorful, majestic and fascinating temple that is almost 2000 years old. Janardana Swami Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and boasts of a stunning Dravidian architecture. Another glorious water body here is the Kappil Lake with the ocean on one side and beach on another.

Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Varkala to Kovalam (56.5 km / 1 Hour 36 Mins)

Check out of the hotel after breakfast and make your way towards Kovalam. Spend a few blissful hours at the Kovalam Beach where you can just lay back and drink in the beautiful surroundings, or enjoy some water sport activities. Also check out the India’s first Artificial Off-Shore Coral Reef at the Kovalam Beach. You can enjoy surfing on the reef. Next is the Lighthouse Beach which offers some great view and tasty cuisines. Lined with numerous eateries, this place is always buzzing. You can dig into some local seafood here and also enjoy the splash of waves while lunching.

Day 6 Kovalam Excursion

Start your day with scrumptious breakfast and head out for sightseeing in Kovalam. The beautiful destination has so much in store for its tourists. Begin your day by first visiting Hawa Beach where you can ravel in the stunning coastline by strolling along the shore, bask in sun, enjoy a refreshing boat ride, go surfing or enjoy mouth-watering seafood from the nearby shacks. Samudra Beach, on the other hand, is a paradise for those seeking some solitude away from the crowd. Next head to the Vellayani Lake, a popular fresh water lake in Kerala. It is also the venue for the famous snake boat race that is held annually during the Onam festival.

Day 7Departure

This memorable journey comes to an end here. After a warm breakfast and checkout, you are driven to Trivandrum International Airport.
