Mannar in the Chengannurtaluk of Alleppey is also called the ‘Bell Metal Town of Kerala’! Situated on the banks of the captivating Pampa River, Manimala River, and AchamKovil River, this quaint village was the hosting ground of the renowned ‘Treaty of Munnar’ that took place between Maharaja of Travancore and Kayamkulam King in 1742.
